Parkin Motorsports

We are a husband and wife team, excited to introduce our new business, Parkin Motorsports, where we focus on RV rentals, RV repair, and auto repair. Kristen also runs a small craft business, Summer Rose Shoppe, and a digital image shop, Backwoods Summer Creations. We’ve been married for almost ten years and are proud parents to five kids: a daughter in college, a daughter in middle school, and three energetic boys in elementary school (pray for us!). Both of us were born in Virginia—Joshua was raised there, while Kristen, an Air Force brat, moved around quite a bit, even living in the Philippines. She earned her bachelor’s degree and a few minors at West Virginia University (Let’s Go Mountaineers!). Joshua remained in Virginia and started with the government right out of high school.  While he is an amazing computer engineer, that is not his passion.  He has a passion for anything on wheels!  Motorcycles, cars, RVs, you name it.  A few years ago, Joshua felt the need for a change and told Kristen she could choose anywhere, just had to be outside of Virginia. After some research and avoiding places with winters (Kristen absolutely despises the cold), she decided on Houston, Texas. We packed up four of our kids (with our oldest staying behind for college), said goodbye to family, and headed southwest to Houston. Now, we’ve settled in beautiful Katy, TX, and are eager to start this new chapter of our lives!
